Britt: held hands

so for this one i think i will start with our second date. so my friend jared in my genetics class, i had been trying for a really long time to get him to come over and play smash bro. with my roommate michelle and i on her game cube. and he finally agreed to that afternoon(which is a friday). so after class kole came up to me and asked me what i was doing that night and i told him about playing video games with jared and michelle. and he said that he was going to invite me to extravadance. i didn't change my plans to go, but i did invite him to come play with us after the show. so he went to that and i assumed that he had gotten some other girl to go with him. so when he still wasn't there 30 min after the show got over i wasn't surprised. cause i figured he didn't want to drop her off and run away to my place. turns out he just went with a friend and after words he walked around a little so he wouldn't seem like he was really excited and came right after the concert. but my friends keep asking me where he was. and i kept saying he will be here in a little while i am sure. he got there played with us tell jared decided to leave and then he invited me back to his apt to watch august rush. ok so i didn't want to hold his hand yet at this point. cause i wasn't sure how i felt, and it was still early. so we are sitting on the couch and i guess he noticed how small my hands were and he wanted to compare them to his so he did the hand to hand thing. and i was so nervous that he would slip his fingers into mine i was a little tense. but then i noticed. i don't know like a little electricity or something i don't know it just felt good to touch his hand and it surprised me so i just sat there staring. and then luckily he took his hand away and went back to watching the movie. so i was like phew he didn't try to hold my hand, but i was also like wow what was that i felt. it just felt right. so then on Monday he asked me what my plans were for the week. and i was pretty busy with school and stuff but i invited him to come to devotional with me, we agreed to meet by thor. my roommate and i got there early to save sets for all our other roommates and then i went up to thor to meet kole, and i was so impressed he was in Sunday dress and he was reading his scriptures. so devotional starts and he takes out his notebook, i was impressed again, he takes notes in devotional too! and i talked to him a little bit. and half way through i look down and i saw his handwriting and it was good, like really good. (i have really bad handwritting) and i said to him "wow you are amazing at everything aren't you?" and he just smiled and was like no your handwriting is nice too. and then we went back to listening and then a couple of minutes later he turned to me and asked if he could hold my hand, and yeah it was amazing. i felt silly holding hands in devotional. but it felt good. then he asked if i was comfortable holding his hand, if i was really ok with it. and then after devo got over he asked if it would be ok if he talked to me. and so we walked out together. and he asked again if it was alright that he held my hand. and i said that i was fine with it, it had just been a year for me since i had held anyone's hand so i might of felt awkward. (cause holding hands is really hard :) ) and he said that it had been 2 years since he had held a girls hand and really meant it. but then he had to leave to meet his roommates because they were going to the temple together. so he walked off and i was just left there thinking is this guy for real? he is amazing. and i can now say yes this amazing guy is for real. and now he is my amazing guy...sorry had to get a little mushy at the end.
