Britt: First date

at this point i had seen kole at stadium sing a few times, but then after he tried to trip me i didn't see him. and i commented about it in class. then the next day he asked me if i could send him a question for our genetics homework and gave me his e-mail address. this is how he got my address. we then e-mailed back and forth. and then the next sunday he came to stadium singing he waved really excitedly when he saw me but then he ran off right after. and then the next day in class. i felt something hit my back. and i remember thinking "he did not just throw something at me" but he did he had written me a note!! and it said consider this the push that i would of given you at stadium singing. and so then in between my immunology class and genetics class i was sitting in the hall and another girl that had both classes with me was sitting by me and we started talking. and i told her about the note Kole through at me. and she laughed and said "yeah but it is kole he can get away with doing stuff like that." and i thought yeah that is true, he is so silly that he can get away with acting like this. and so in genetics i was sitting with my friend jared trying to figure out what to write back. He suggested that i write, stop pushing me around and ask me out already. but i couldn't write that so i just retaliated with something i don't even remember what it was. and then i gave him my note after class. this felt so silly by the way. then after the next immunology class Kole walk with me, he said that i had broken his heart, that my note was so mean...and the conversation went on but basically it ended up being a funny conversation. and then that weekend he sent me the funniest e-mail to figure out whether or not i had a boyfriend. and it was like "How does your boyfriend feel about that? This question is a ploy to see if you are dating anyone because you will either answer, 'How do you know I have a boyfriend? Are you like a stalker?' or like 'What boyfriend? Are you a stalker?' so either way I find out if you have a boyfriend and you find out that I am stalking you. win-win-win." i wrote back saying basically that i didn't have a boyfriend. and then he asked me out the next day. so our first date was on a Wednesday. i was so scared that he was going to take me country dancing because he is from idaho and he likes to dance. thankfully he didn't. instead we went bowling and then to cold stone. and one thing that really impressed me was that he made sure that i knew that i didn't have to eat the whole thing. and then we talked for a while and yeah it was great and at the end he said he wanted to do it again some time. which honestly almost never happens because i am usually so quite on the first date that the guy usually feels that he would never want to go on another date with me, but Kole did a good job at getting me to open up.
